For over seven years, Syracuse City Ballet
has been dedicated to nurturing local talent while providing
Central New York with a “big city” ballet experience
normally found only in large metropolitan areas. Ticket sales
pay only about 40% of the costs associated with bringing our
signature “4-star quality” productions to life.
To bridge the gap, we must rely on the generosity
of individuals like you. As individual donors, you play an essential
role in maintaining Central New York’s cultural vitality
and community pride. By supporting Syracuse City Ballet, not
only will ballet remain a thriving art form; you also ensure
that talented dancers in our area have the opportunity to perform
in professional ballet productions.
Where Your Money Goes
100% of your donation goes to
support our artistic expenses and production costs such as artist
fees, theatrical sets, lighting, costume design, props, and
shoes. Your donation is not used to finance administrative overhead
costs, so you can see your contribution in action – on
stage.
According to research conducted by the National
Endowment for the Arts, approximately one-third of American adults
attend live performances in the arts each year.
