Alejandro Cobas, a Cuban native, studied ballet at the Cuban School of Ballet and was a dancer with the Camaguey Company of Cuba. In addition to his studies with the Cuban School of Ballet, he also attended the XIX and XX International Meeting of Academies for the teaching of ballet in 2013 and 2014. In addition to his extensive training in ballet he has also studied Horton Modern technique. He has performed professional roles in The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Giselle, as well as performing the Pas de Duex in Diana and Acteon, Llamas de Paris, Don Quixote and Corsaire. Alejandro was most recently featured in Syracuse City Ballet’s production of Snow White, after joining SCB in 2017.
