Aria Apparies

Trainee

Aria Apparies (She/Her) is originally from New Hope, Pennsylvania. She began her formal dance training in Lambertville, New Jersey, under the guidance of instructors including Pinja Sinisalo and Nerea Barrondo. At just thirteen years old, Aria performed professionally with Roxey Ballet for the Monmouth Arts Festival. Later that year, she was accepted into the professional division of The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she trained on scholarship under the direction of Peter Stark. During her time there, Aria performed a variety of roles in multiple ballets such as The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Bayadère, and Coppélia. Along with that, she also had the opportunity to perform solo and pas de deux work in The Rock School's Spring Shows. Throughout her dance training, Aria has also attended multiple intensives at BalletX, Orlando Ballet, Boston Ballet, Kirov Academy, Joffrey Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, and many more. While dancing at Rock, Aria also performed in multiple mainstage productions at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, New Jersey. Most recently, she choreographed for summer children’s shows at the theatre. She graduated high school a year early from The Rock School in 2025, and she is very excited to join Syracuse City Ballet for her first season!
