Jayson Douglas, originally from Paterson, New Jersey, is a distinguished dancer and choreographer with extensive training from Dance World Academy, Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, The Ailey School, and Point Park University. He has performed with notable ballet companies including Company C Contemporary Ballet, where he was featured in Twyla Tharp’s “Surfer at the River Styx,” and Sarah Berges Dance in Paris. After dancing with James Sewell Ballet and touring Cannes, Jayson now resides in the Twin Cities as a member of Minnesota Dance Theatre. He also contributes as an instructor and choreographer, having held roles with Ashley Ballet Arts Academy, Midland State Ballet, and Sarah Berges Dance.
