Katie Binder is a dance educator and choreographer in New York State. In the past she has been on the administrative team for the Harlem Arts Festival and a work study student for Bates Dance Festival and White Mountain Summer Dance Festival. She has her Master of Fine Arts degree in Choreography from Jacksonville University where she focused on empowering dancers to find and use their artistic voice within the choreographic process and found her niche in the world of contemporary dance. She graduated from SUNY Potsdam with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Composition and Dance Performance and her Masters Science of Teaching degree is in Childhood Education.
