Maddey Bielby is eighteen years old and recently graduated from VVS High school. Maddey is from Sherrill, NY and has grown up dancing. She trained under her mother, Katie Grinnell, at Star Performance Dance Centre as well as additional ballet training under Melissa Larish at Ballet Arts of CNY. Maddey has grown such a large passion for ballet since the age of thirteen. Throughout her years of training, she has performed in various competitive dance competitions in the styles of contemporary, jazz, tap, acro and lyrical. During her time at Ballet Arts she was also a Company Member with Mohawk Valley Performing Arts. She has performed in several ballets from The Nutcracker to the most recent 50th anniversary performance for MVPA. She has danced lead roles from the Sugar Plum Fairy to Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Maddey is very excited for this new journey with Syracuse City Ballet and can’t wait to continue growing her love and passion for dance.
