Maddey Bielby is from Sherrill, NY and recently graduated from VVS High School. Maddey trained under her mother, Katie Grinnell, at Star Performance Dance Centre as well as additional ballet training under Melissa Larish at Ballet Arts of CNY. Maddey has grown such a large passion for ballet since the age of thirteen. Throughout her years of training, she has performed in various competitive dance competitions in the styles of contemporary, jazz, tap, acro, and lyrical.

During her time at Ballet Arts of CNY, Maddey danced as a Company Member with Mohawk Valley Performing Arts, performing in many classical works, including: Cinderella, excerpts from Sleeping Beauty, Secret Garden, The Nutcracker, and MVPA’s 50th anniversary performance. She has brought to life leading roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Maddey is very excited for this new journey with Syracuse City Ballet and can’t wait to continue growing her love and passion for dance.
