A special thank you to the Autistm Theatre Initiative for assisting us in the creation of a Sensory Friendly Performance of The Nutcracker. It is Syracuse City Ballet’s goal to bring the magic and beauty of ballet to everyone in our community. For more information please visit www.tdf.org/autism

Open rehearsals

As we head up to each performance, we try to set up an Open Rehearsal for those who might not be able to sit for a full length ballet. These rehearsals are usually just a portion of the ballet and give the viewer an opportunity to see a little of how the magic behind the scenes works. These are set up on a interest-based basis, so if you would like to be included please contact ciarrai@syracusecityballet.com

Backstage Tours

For those who would like to visit the Backstage Area, we do occasionally offer tours to see the dressing rooms, costumes, sets, backstage area, and warm-ups. This is perfect for those people who like to know how everything works! Questions are welcomed. These tours are usually set up in conjunction with an Open Rehearsal and are based on interest. Please contact ciarrai@syracusecityballet.com to find out about availability.
